Gostops Amritsar, Golden Temple

Comfortable beds with curtains, light and fan. Helpful staff, provided storage and late check-out. Rooftop area for hot days. Good location for exploring.

I recently stayed at GoStops in Amritsar for two nights. The staff was superb and really friendly, providing me with all the information I needed. They even gave me a free bunk bed as I checked in early. The cleanliness of the hostel, including the shared washrooms, was exceptional. I was also impressed that they offered late-night transportation options. Special thanks to Ms. Seema, who was incredibly helpful and provided great recommendations for food and local places to visit. The beds were comfortable and the small kitchen was convenient for heating food and making tea. I highly recommend this hostel.

What an amazing hostel! The rooms were impeccably clean, and we loved our private room with a bathroom. The wifi was reliable and fast, a huge plus. The common space had a charming and nostalgic vibe, reminding us of classic hostels. the standout of our stay was definitely the staff. Unfortunately, my husband and I fell ill during our time in Amritsar, but the staff were pretty good too take care of us. They helped us find the nearest pharmacy, offered to clean our room whenever we needed, and regularly checked in to see if we needed anything. Auntie even prepared a homemade meal to help us recover. We couldn't have asked for a more supportive and caring team. Thank you so much!

There was a bit of inconvenience with the personal wifi code compared to other hostels, but it wasn't a major issue.

The facilities at Gostops were amazing, with a great common room and comfortable beds in both the rooms and dormitory. the staff were friendly and caring, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere. the cleanliness of the place, including the rooms, bed linen, and washrooms, was impeccable. the hostel was also conveniently located near the Golden Temple, with a shortcut available. it was a fantastic experience at an unbelievable price.

The staff at this hostel were absolute rock stars! They were super professional, supportive, and friendly. Special shoutout to Mr Jagroop, Seema, and Harish for going above and beyond. The rooftop was jaw-dropping and provided stunning views. The location was very close to a famous attraction. The decor throughout the hostel was top-notch and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff always had a smile on their faces and were incredibly helpful. The beds were comfortable and had all the necessary amenities like clean sheets, blankets, charging points, and curtains for privacy. The washrooms were squeaky clean and well-equipped. The positive vibes at this place were off the charts. it was the best stay ever and I'll definitely be looking for similar dormitory beds in the future. Absolutely loved it!

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, withvery comfy and tidy rooms. The location was great, with nearby markets and attractions within walking distance. The staff were kind, and the common area was a fantastic place to relax.

We had a great stay at Gostops Amritsar, Chatiwind Gate! the location was perfect, within walking distance of the Golden Temple. We loved being surrounded by markets, bakeries, and restaurants. Despite being in a quiet residential street, there was plenty of delicious street food to try nearby. the hostel itself was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and safe lockers. the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Amritsar!

The staff at the hotel were friendly, nice, and sweet. They were helpful in providing recommendations and making our trip enjoyable. The property was situated in a convenient location, close to markets and easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The common area and terrace were well-maintained and offered a great view.

The rule of switching off the AC during the day was inconvenient, especially during hot and humid weather. It made the room uncomfortably hot and there was insufficient ventilation without a fan.

The staff at the reception is amazing! They not only speak English and Hindi fluently but also have a knack for making you feel at home. They are as warm and comforting as a cup of chai on a cold winter day.
